Otago Cricket’s Performance and Talent Department are seeking expression of interest for individuals interested in supporting and leading some of Otago Cricket’s age-group programmes. We are seeking expressions of interest in the roles:

Due to its constitutional Board rotation, the OCA is seeking two Appointed Board Directors to join its Board from 23 October 2019. The two retiring incumbent Board Directors are not seeking re-appointment after each serving multiple terms. If greater than two applications are received, selection will be made via a Board Appointments Panel.
The Board of Otago Cricket is a governance board, providing strategic leadership and supporting the CEO in the delivery of the strategic plan. The Board’s main functions include setting the overall direction for Otago Cricket, making policy and strategy decisions, overseeing and monitoring organisational performance, and, ensuring overall accountability and managing key strategic relationships.
The OCA has a strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity and encourages candidates from differing ethnic backgrounds and either gender to apply. In addition, the successful candidate/s will bring some or all of the following attributes:
- Strong general financial / business acumen;
- Strategic thinking and analytical ability;
- Well-rounded relationship building skills;
- The ability to see the big picture;
- Governance experience;
- Broad commercial savviness;
- Legal experience;
- A genuine interest in cricket and community / high-performance sport generally.
OCA is a not-for-profit regional sports organisation. The Board members are volunteers.
