Otago Cricket is home to our two premier domestic cricket teams, the Otago Volts and the SBS Bank Otago Sparks. Both teams represent Otago, one of the 6 New Zealand major cricket associations, and compete in New Zealand domestic cricket competitions annually.
Our contracted players represent our districts (Dunedin, Southland, Otago Country and North Otago) and strive to be New Zealand's best domestic teams in the Dream 11 Super Smash, Hallyburton Johnstone Shield, Ford Trophy and Plunket Shield competitions.
The ultimate goal for the players is to represent the NZ BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS on the international stage and to positively promote the game we love.
With both our Volts and Sparks having a successful and rich history, our players of today will look to continue the legacy of the many great players who have represented Otago Cricket.
